2011 witnessed the birth of many new websites and fileshare services (ie: Spotify, Turntable.fm, Bandcamp) that are of interest to anyone interested in music law. These new technologies and websites create interesting issues regarding licensing, royalties and publishers’ rights. On November 29th 2011, IPLS will be hosting a panel of distinguished music and technology lawyers to discuss how these new technologies impact license agreements, music synchronizations and various other topics. Students will have the chance to ask questions and network with panelists.
