Senate Judiciary Subcommittee Examines Chinese Internet Censorship

On January 12, 2010, Google announced that they would no longer obey China’s internet censorship laws. Today, the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee examined business practices in China and discussed the issue of global Internet freedom. Google representatives attended the hearing, and testified on the censorship of Google’s online products.
